Welcome to Heidi’s Helping Hands! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website hhhpa.com (the “Site”) and the cleaning and related services (“Services”) provided by Heidi’s Helping Hands (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our Site or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or Services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our Site or engaging with our Services, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Heidi’s Helping Hands.
2. Services Offered
Heidi’s Helping Hands provides professional cleaning services to residential and commercial clients in Northeastern Pennsylvania and the Southern Tier of New York. We may also offer additional related services as agreed upon with the client.
3. Booking and Scheduling Services
- Requesting a Quote/Service: You may request a quote or inquire about our Services by filling out a contact form on our Site or by calling us directly. The quote form on our Site asks for your name, type of service, phone number, email, location, and details for the job you want done.
- Confirmation: After receiving your online inquiry or call, we will contact you to confirm details, discuss your needs, provide a personalized quote, and schedule your service. A service is not considered booked until you receive a confirmation from us.
- In-Person Quotes: For certain services, especially for one-time or larger jobs, we may require an in-person visit to your home or property to provide an accurate quote. The client must be present during this initial in-person quote consultation.
4. Pricing and Payment
- Payment Due Date: Payment for services rendered is due on the same day the work is completed.
- Accepted Payment Methods: We accept Venmo, PayPal, check, and cash.
- Deposits for One-Time Services/Outside Work: For one-time services or outside work that requires us to purchase supplies (e.g., mulch, plants), a 50% payment of the estimated total is required before work begins. This deposit is non-refundable if the service is canceled outside of our stated cancellation policy.
- Overdue Payments: Heidi’s Helping Hands reserves the right to charge late fees or pursue collection efforts for overdue payments in accordance with applicable law.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
- Cancellation:
- For cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled service time, there will be no charge.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service time will be charged the full price of the scheduled service. This applies to both one-time and recurring clients.
- Rescheduling for Weekly/Monthly Clients: If you are a weekly or monthly client, you may reschedule your service to a different day within the same week at no extra charge, provided adequate notice is given and a mutually agreeable time can be found. Standard cancellation policy applies if rescheduling results in a cancellation less than 48 hours before the original scheduled time.
6. Client Responsibilities
To ensure the efficient and safe delivery of our Services, you agree to:
- Property Access: After agreeing on a price and schedule, you are responsible for providing us with safe and appropriate access to your property at the scheduled service time. This may include providing a lockbox code, ensuring the property is unlocked, or being present. If you are present during the service, that is acceptable.
- Securing Pets: All pets must be secured or safely contained away from the work area for the duration of the service to ensure their safety and the safety of our staff.
- Valuables and Breakables: While we take utmost care, it is the client’s responsibility to secure or remove any highly valuable, fragile, or sentimental items from the areas to be cleaned prior to our arrival.
- Property Condition: You are responsible for notifying us of any pre-existing damages or conditions at the property that may affect our ability to perform the service safely or effectively.
- Safety: You agree to disclose any safety hazards, special instructions, or specific allergies (e.g., to cleaning products) that may impact our staff’s well-being or the service outcome.
